Nearby Wind Street provides a host of popular pubs and clubs, restaurants and entertainment venues including a 12 screen state-of-the-art multiplex cinema and multi-million pound casino.

For those of you who like to explore a little wider afield, the area boasts resorts, parks, caves and castles. The Gower Peninsula boasts some of the most beautiful bays and beaches in the UK, with wide clear sands, coves half-hidden under steep cliffs and thick woods and some excellent surfing and sailing. It was the first area in Britain to be awarded the title of 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' by the Government in 1956.

If you prefer different kind of nightlife, the nearby Mumbles village is famous for its range of restaurants, pubs and local shopping and it is a famous haunt of Swansea students.
